Strong City Memphis is a social services organization dedicated to addressing generational trauma in communities across Memphis, Tennessee. We believe that prioritizing and maintaining a child’s mental health is essential for their success. By working with families, it is our mission to break generational cycles of trauma that impede the educational and life outcomes of our city's children.
Building Resilience
In addition to addressing cycles of generational trauma, Strong City Memphis is committed to building resiliency in children and their families. We provide group sessions and various resources to assist families in raising children in a thriving environment.

Transforming Lives with Strong City Memphis
- Our programs focus on providing support and resources to those affected by poverty, domestic violence, and homelessness, and other forms of trauma.
- We seek community collaborations with juvenile correctional facilities schools, and community centers to provide group counseling services for youths and their families who are experiencing trauma.
- We welcome support from local counselors and therapists who align with our mission and are willing to volunteer their time to the families we serve.
- We provide professional resources and emotional support to the complete family system.
- We invite community partners/ motivational speakers to join our mission by attending group sessions to share inspirational messages with children and their families.
